Had an excellent time modeling for Cayetano Legacy Collection yesterday! The beautiful holiday line releases Nov. 1st (I will be able to share more photos then)! It was fun to have hair and makeup done by Alexis and Eileen, after which I was referred to by 'Taylor' [Swift]. It was also fun to work with photographer PK Atkins again. *Behind the Scenes photos courtesy of Cayetano Legacy on Instagram. Group shot! Last night I modeled for Fashion Assassin at the RAW Allure event at the Pourhouse. I was NERVOUS about falling so my turns were slow and not so sassy. Total newbie! It was fun watching the other models with their fierce or flirty poses. I love trying new things in this industry and learning tips and tricks from those I meet. Before the big runway show, each designer had a time to showcase their designs by having their models stand on the blocks. Our group got funky and had ourselves a dance party! :) Photo courtesy of Randi, the designer of Fashion Assassin Clothing. Here are three images from our second artistic collaboration along the beautiful St. Croix River in Stillwater, MN!
Yesterday, I did a second photoshoot with photographer Kelsey Campion. Kelsey focuses on conceptual photography in an artistic/surreal way. While Kelsey works on the images from yesterday's photoshoot, let me share with you two of the amazing images she produced after our first collaboration. Please tell me what you think of the photos and what you take away from them.
I make blurry background girl look good at 0:33. YES! This was a really fun shoot! Read below for comments on the day we filmed. 05/27/2013
Wow! What fun I had on a set on Friday! I was shooting a commercial for Sanford Brown (Brown College) where I was playing a student of some medical field - which field, the audience may not know (I didn't). What they certainly won't know (except for lip-reading experts), is what bizarre questions the students were really asking to trip up the improvisational all-stars who were playing our professors. Below are a few examples of the questions asked. I struggled not to laugh or even smile with some of these. Try to picture the students asking these questions very seriously and the professors smiling and gesturing to the nodding class or pointing to medical models while they attempt to answer our ridiculous questions! Q: My mom drinks and smokes a lot. What would you recommend to help her? A: Well, I wouldn't discourage her habits, but I would suggest she offset it with something else. Like bacon consumption, for example. I would recommend that she eat more bacon. Q: What if a pig smokes a lot? Should we expect it to produce smoked bacon? Q: If a pig passes gas, should we worry about the effect on global warming? Q: Can I leave? I have to pee. A: No you may not because the camera is passing you right now. Hold it, but try not to show it. Some of our other topics included superman's x-ray vision, Morgan Freeman, and MANY unmentionables! I was very impressed with everyone's on-the-fly humor. It was certainly one of the most interesting college courses I have attended! |

I began on-camera and theater theater acting in grade school, and continued to work/perform through college. I was away from it for a couple of years, but missed it greatly. In 2012, I became active in the Minneapolis acting community again. I am represented by Agency Models and Talent (non-union), and am interested in on-camera and voice acting opportunities, as well as print and live modeling. Archives
